Specks in powders may be analyzed on-line using an image analysis application with either a Powderscan (P4000) or a Fluoroscan (F4000). Fluoroscans are designed to detect aleurone for flour determinations or other components which fluoresce. The Slurryscan (S4000) is an exciting new instrument designed to determine specks in slurries, gels or pastes.
