Wireless Technology
An integrated wireless LAN option is available for Dash monitors, which enables you to move the monitor around the hospital easily while maintaining a connection to the Unity Network, GE's real-time patient data network, and the CIC Pro¨ central station. Using 802.11b technology, Dash monitors are designed to be integrated into your existing wireless network. Wireless ECG acquisition allows patients stay "connected" to the bedside monitor while they are ambulatory. Telemetry waveforms captured by ApexPro are displayed on the Dash monitor, as well as at the central station, allowing you to respond to changes in patient status at a moment's notice. In addition, WPA and WEP technology ensure the secure wireless transmission of patient data.
